Dr. Mikhail Gendel graduated from St Petersburg medical school (Russia) in 1976. Since then Dr. Gendel has practiced medicine in major clinics of St.Petersburg, including Pediatric Medical Institute.

In 1985 Dr. Gendel earned a PhD after training at st. Petersburg Scientific Institute of Ob/Gyn.

In 1991 Dr. Gendel immigrated to the USA, successfully passed Board Exams and underwent 3 years of residency training in Family Medicine at Stony Brook University, NY 1994-1997. He is a Board Certified family physician since 1997.

Dr. Gendel was also a Fellow of General Surgery at Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, Massachusetts 1993-1994.

In 1997 -1999 he was a Family Physician at FamilyHealth Care in Gaithersburg MD.

In 1999 he established his own practice.

Washington Post Magazine named Mikhail Gendel, M.D Super Doctor in 2011 and 2013.

Dr. Gendel has more then 15 publications in major medical journals, devoted to obstetrics and history of medicine.

In his spare time he enjoys arts, music and sports.
